DCC Celebrates a Successful Second Year at the High End and Smart Home Show Dubai

24–26 September 2026 · Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis By DCC Technical Team

What started with conversations at our exhibition booth has continued with almost daily sessions at our demo cinema after DCC’s second year at the High End & Smart Home Show Dubai.

DCC High End and Smart Home Show Dubai 2026 event announcement

Dune Crest Core Trading (DCC) proudly returned to the High End Show Dubai 2026 for its second year of participation, representing MAG Theatron, ACURUS and Screen Excellence.

Held from 24 to 26 September 2026 at Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis, the exhibition brought together high-end audio, home cinema, smart home and custom installation communities.

For our team, this year’s participation was particularly rewarding. Visitor interest and positive feedback exceeded our expectations, with an enthusiastic response to our brands and the possibilities they offer for private cinema projects.

A major highlight was introducing ACURUS to the region for the first time. Alongside the attention received by MAG Theatron and Screen Excellence, the response to ACURUS made this an exciting milestone for DCC and our growing home cinema portfolio.

High End Show Dubai 2026: Bringing Home Cinema Brands Closer to the Industry

The exhibition provided an opportunity to meet system integrators, consultants, designers and cinema enthusiasts, introduce our portfolio and discuss the technology behind dedicated home cinema systems.

Our booth brought together three complementary areas of cinema performance: loudspeakers, audio processing and amplification, and projection screens. Each plays a different role, but all contribute to the same goal of creating a convincing and engaging cinema experience.

With the exhibition taking place in an open hall, our participation focused on product displays, introductions and conversations. Listening demonstrations followed at our dedicated cinema, where visitors could experience a system in an environment suited to cinema playback.

That connection between the exhibition and the demo room has become one of the most encouraging outcomes of the show.

MAG Theatron and the Foundations of Cinema Sound

MAG Theatron attracted considerable attention, particularly around the AVALON range and its approach to dedicated cinema sound.

In a home cinema, loudspeakers must do more than reproduce sound at high volume. They need to preserve dialogue clarity, handle sudden changes in level and deliver sound consistently across the intended seating area. The front left, centre and right channels are especially important because they anchor dialogue and much of the on-screen action.

The MAG Theatron AVALON TOP C offers an example of the engineering behind the range. Its published design combines a 6.5-inch Air Motion Transformer high-frequency driver, a 4-inch titanium-dome midrange driver and a 15-inch carbon-cone woofer with a 15-inch passive radiator.

These components divide the work across different frequency ranges. The midrange driver handles a region essential to speech intelligibility, while the high-frequency driver reproduces upper-frequency detail. The woofer and passive radiator support low-frequency reproduction within the enclosure.

MAG specifies nominal coverage of 100 degrees horizontally and 40 degrees vertically for the AVALON TOP C. Coverage is an important consideration when positioning cinema speakers because it helps the designer assess how sound will reach the seating area.

For integrators and consultants, these details provide a starting point for matching the loudspeaker system to the room dimensions, seating layout and intended listening levels.

Introducing ACURUS to the Region

Introducing ACURUS to the region for the first time was a proud moment for DCC. The brand received strong visitor interest and enthusiastic feedback, creating a promising foundation for further conversations with our trade partners.

ACURUS brings American-made immersive audio processing and power amplification to dedicated home cinemas and media rooms. Its product range addresses two distinct tasks: processing the soundtrack and providing the power needed to drive the loudspeakers.

The ACURUS ACT 4 is a 20-channel immersive audio processor, while the MUSE offers 16-channel processing. Both support native Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding. These formats support sound reproduction around and above the audience, with the final experience depending on the chosen speaker layout, installation and system setup.

Both the ACT 4 and MUSE support ACURUS ASPEQT room correction technology and integrate with leading control platforms, including Control4, Crestron, ELAN, RTI, Savant and URC, through dedicated drivers. These capabilities enable acoustic optimisation for the listening environment and unified control of the cinema within the wider home automation system.

Separate power amplification provides another part of the ACURUS offering. The M8X eight-channel amplifier is specified by the manufacturer at 200 watts per channel into 8-ohm loudspeakers with all eight channels driven simultaneously.

Separating processing from amplification gives project teams flexibility when selecting equipment for different channel counts and loudspeaker requirements. Amplifier selection should still account for the speakers’ impedance, sensitivity and required output at the listening positions.

The response at the show made us particularly excited about developing ACURUS through our regional dealer and system integrator network.

Screen Excellence and the Connection Between Sound and Image

Screen Excellence completed our presentation of the core elements behind a dedicated projection cinema.

An acoustically transparent projection screen allows the front loudspeakers to be positioned behind the image. This helps align dialogue with the people speaking on screen and allows the sound system to be integrated discreetly into the cinema’s front wall.

Screen Excellence’s Enlightor Neo is an acoustically transparent projection surface, rather than a screen model. The manufacturer specifies a gain of 0.95 and acoustic insertion loss below 1 dB across the frequency spectrum. Low insertion loss helps limit the reduction in sound level as audio passes through the material.

The distinction between projection surface and screen construction matters when specifying a project. The surface influences optical and acoustic performance, while the frame, dimensions and masking arrangement determine how the screen fits the room and presents different image formats.

The Screen Excellence TAM 2L, for example, is a fixed-frame screen with two independently motorised lateral masks. Its viewing height remains constant while the visible width changes to suit the required aspect ratio.

This allows different image formats to be framed by light-absorbing black borders. Masking covers unused screen areas; image sizing must still be coordinated with the projection system.

For private cinema projects, these choices connect the visual presentation with speaker placement, room proportions and the overall interior design.

From Exhibition Conversations to Almost Daily Cinema Demos

The most rewarding part of our participation has been the continued interest after the exhibition.

Since the show ended, we have been hosting demo sessions almost daily at our dedicated cinema in Dubai. These visits give guests the opportunity to move beyond product displays and specifications and experience cinema playback firsthand.

A dedicated demonstration provides useful context for understanding dialogue clarity, the movement of surround effects, bass impact and the relationship between sound and the projected image. It also creates space for more focused conversations about the requirements of individual projects.

For our team, the number of follow-up visits has been an encouraging sign that the interest at the booth extended well beyond the exhibition itself.

We have enjoyed welcoming visitors back, continuing those conversations and helping our trade partners become more familiar with the brands in our portfolio.

Supporting Home Cinema Professionals Across the GCC

As a Dubai-based B2B distributor, DCC works with system integrators, installers, consultants and interior designers across the GCC.

Our role is to connect these professionals with specialist home cinema brands and supply the products they specify for their projects. MAG Theatron, ACURUS and Screen Excellence offer complementary technologies that can be considered within a coordinated cinema specification, with final equipment selection determined by the needs of each room.

This year’s show was an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, introduce our portfolio to new contacts and give industry professionals a closer look at the products available through DCC.

The response has reinforced our enthusiasm for continuing to develop these brands across our partner network.

Continue the Conversation with DCC

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, shared their feedback and joined us for a follow-up cinema demonstration. We also thank our brand partners and the HIGH END & SMART HOME Show organisers for helping make our second year of participation so memorable.

The exhibition may be over, but the conversations and cinema visits continue.

For dealers, system integrators, consultants and interior designers interested in MAG Theatron, ACURUS or Screen Excellence, contact DCC or arrange a visit to our dedicated demo cinema in Dubai.
